Dark fruit and spice with a pleasant medium tannin bite. Long pleasant finish.
2nd bottle - very meaty, earthy with a real animal smell. Nice, but not typical meritage stuff. Very burgundian
2nd bottle: paired well with a mild curry. The subtle sweetness helps balance the acidity. Very tasty.
