I picked up a 2010 Patassy PN at Grocery Outlet in SF today. A very weird wine. You expect to get rasberry in the nose. Perfume, something typical of PN. This wine barely makes it. That's the good news. The fruit? A bitterness with some of that cotton candy sweetness you find in NZ low end PN's. This wine has no charm on any level. The bottom l...

This is a great wine. The color is very light but the body is nice and full with a great ratio of acidity to fruit. Really balances it out. The fruit sticks out at the end on the finish and is probably the only thing that keeps me from giving it four glasses. It is just isn't sitting well with me.
