WE just returned from a wonderful vacation to the Palazzo Bandino. I wanted to buy some wine but we had 2 more weeks of traveling and I did not want to carry it... or drink it before I could share it at home. I loved the Palazzo and their wine. What do you all recommend??

I just returned from a 2 week stay at this winery/hotel. (June 2010) They hand pick all their grapes and olives to make the wine and olive oil. Their production is about 40,000 bottles of wine per year. You can find it at a few importers in the US for about $13 per bottle, while I was able to purchase it during my stay for 2.5 Euros.....approx...

I visited this winery in September 2009. I was taken here on a Grand Circle tour. We had a wonderful meal. I bought a 2003 Colli Senesi Riserva. I intend to hold it for a few years as suggested. I was disappointed that there is no review or price for this wine. Ellen
