Established in 1958 by Wyndam Hill Smith, the vineyard is situated on the banks of the Murray River in South Australia. Clear blue skies, rich red soil and an abundance of golden sunshine are hallmarks of this wine region. The vineyard was named Oxford Landing after a nearby site where drovers once grazed and watered sheep on the long journey to Adelaide from northern pastoral properties. Careful grape growing and winemaking efforts result in a collection of wines that capture and retain the natural, vibrant flavors and splendour of the Oxford Landing Vineyard. The vibrant flavors for Oxford Landing wines start with the sustainable management of the family’s 650 acre vineyard. Really good value. Peach nose. Creamy/silk texture, light fruit, maybe peach. Finish is crisp but not too acidic, light very nice fruit finish. Excellent value, would be a great everyday wine. Read More
