Oliver Merlin was originally from the  Charolais in Burgundy but has worked in the Jura and in California before renting the  4.5 hectare Domaine du Saint Sortin in 1987 with his wife Corinne. He has since bought and rented vineyards in several Burgundy and Beaujolais appellations. He produces a range of red and white wines
