This is the first time I've got Barbera, that was an interesting experience. The aroma seems to be close to sweet black fruit tones but taste is unexpectedly full of wild cherry and green apple. Best choice for Italian pasta. Read More

Nice clear deep burgundy color with heavy legs.After a good long breathing period (it was a young 2008 bottle) I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful fruit and nut bouquet. The wine was just as fruity on the pallet but with a smooth buttery finish. A great inexpensive wine. Read More

Pours a nice deep red/purple with a rather vinous aroma. Blackberry is the first flavor to hit the tongue followed by a vinous character with a touch of earthiness. A very smooth barbera that paired beautifully with chicken cacciatore. A solid wine overall. Read More
