This is the first time I've got Barbera, that was an interesting experience. The aroma seems to be close to sweet black fruit tones but taste is unexpectedly full of wild cherry and green apple. Best choice for Italian pasta.

Looking for a deal, and found this. Pleasantly surprised! Firm, but well balanced. Nose is weaker than I'd expected, but the experience doesn't suffer for that. I'd purchase again, for sure. Read More
Not a fan :o(. Tastes watery, sour taste, very bland. If you like wine, I'm certain you won't like this. Read More
Nice clear deep burgundy color with heavy legs. After a good long breathing period (it was a young 2008 bottle) I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful fruit and nut bouquet. The wine was just as fruity on the pallet but with a smooth buttery finish. A great inexpensive wine. Read More
