What does Napa stand for? For some, it conjures up images of five-star resorts and world renowned restaurants, but everyone agrees Napa Valley represents the pinnacle of great wines; one of the world's great wine capitals. Napa Cellars embodies the classic Napa Valley style - ripe, rich, balanced and collectible. Most importantly, the wines of Napa Cellars taste of the depth of this great wine region as much as the grapes themselves. In the valley's warm days and cool nights, our vineyards produce seven primary varieties for which Napa Valley has become famous. Try one of our classic wines, and we hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed making them. – Description from jshan0113

  • Myriad Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2012

    Snoothrank:

Dark plum color. Dark berry fruit on the nose, but, also, slight hint of alcohol. Terrific on the tongue. Typical CS hit of cassis on the tongue. Also, a suggestion of oaky vanilla. Then, almost, some anise. Very subdued tannin makes this on a very easy drinker. Clearly, a New World styled wine, but, also, a big winner. Read More

  • Lewis Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Napa 2010

    Snoothrank:

Wow. This is what they mean when they talk about a powerhouse Napa Cab. Very dark in the glass. Slightly alcoholic nose. Cassis and prune on the tip of the tongue. Then something licoricemaybe, more herbal, like basiland dark chocolate. Very, very serious tannin. This wine just fills your mouth. I would think that this one can lay sideways... Read More

  • Din't give it anotger thought RCKR, I had a brain fart.Back on topic, MJET add Jean Edwards Cellars to your list. I tasted through their wines this evening. Wines built to age but drink well now. Lighter styled, more traditional Napa Cabs. I really enjoyed the napa Valley, Stagecoach  and  especially the Rutherford (GIII). The Petite Sirah was n... Read More

  • MJET - Here's a list of wines that are currently out there (out of 1000's) from just one place.  All of are age worthy, most drink well early, some drink better after a year or but all sit well for anywhere from 7-8 to 15-20. Here it is, by the way I went with a $25 - $50 range - I know you spent $75 on bottle you weren't sure about - but DMCKER... Read More
