Mumm Napa
The Mumm Napa winery was completed in 1986 by Guy Devaux as part of a special project of the French Champagne house G.H. Mumm to find a suitable winegrowing location in the U.S. Mr. Devaux found the Carneros region along the Napa River in California’s Napa Valley to be ideal for his project and established Mumm Cuvèe Napa.
The winery is currently overseen by head Winemaker Ludovic Dervin, a Champagne, France native who produces wines in the celebrated methodè traditionelle. Working closely with Mr. Dervin is VP of Winemaking and Operations, Rob McNeill. Together the winemakers focus production on sparkling wines while continuing to produce balanced and distinctive red and white varieties.
