  • Fantail Pinotage 2010

Excellent wine and a great example of a Pinotage. A little bit of spice and very well rounded. Touch of earth and herb that offsets the fruit. Great stuff. Read More

  • Morgenhof Estate Sauvignon Blanc Stellenbosch 2010

Tight and almost chalky on the nose, this shows more mineral and taut fruit notes than many of the wines with subtle herbaceous hints. Light-bodied and fresh in the mouth, this has a creamy edge but remains quite transparent on the palate, showing some lightly tropical, mango-toned fruit flavors along with a nearly steely edge. • Pinotage Fantail 2007

This review was from the '08...This wine was enjoyable once in the mouth but the nose was dominated by cheap hair salon perm odors and made me a sceptic before even hitting my lips. I will live a happy life without this wine. Read More

  • Morgenhof Estate Chenin Blanc Simonsberg-Stellenbosch 2007

This wine has it all: Vanilla, cream, milky nose, white chocolate, coconut. A real bomb... But euh, where is the chenin-blanc?A great and impressive start, but you get bored after a while from all its power. Great however to have a white wine that can cope with the heavier creamy chicken or fish recepies. Read More
