  • Carmenere Carmenere great value hard to sell, the Mondavi is a standard the Cab is quite good for the price and I do well with the Pinot Noir. Kendall Jackson is another one, very popular, and that Chardonnay is always on point Read More

  • Joe,To address sales only, at under $20 point, the Robert Mondavi Private Selection line seems VERY popular out here in CA.  I personally cannot vouch for it, but I've had store wine folks tell me it goes fast, and I have some friends that swear by it.  Again, my advice is for sales not my personal taste :-) Read More

  • Robert Mondavi Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

    Snoothrank:

Not a fruit-forward wine by any means. LOTS of tannin. Not necessarily a bad thing, but let that be a warning to tannophobes. The flavor profile points me to tobacco, dark chocolate, mocha. Not the kind of wine you want to sipmore the kind of wine that you want to accompany food. It is very full-bodied. So, it will with a robust meala beef... Read More

  • Hi everybody I'm a small store owner at the edge of the rust belt, my customers rarely spend over $20 for a bottle, and I am looking to improve my selection a bit beyond what is here now. If you have a minute to help a guy out let me know what you think are the best wines that usually sell for $20 or less. Thanks ! Read More

  • I love the RM Cabs for everyday drinkers. All of them are full without being too big for my non-cab friends. All vintages go great with filet or burgers and the price point is usually sub $20. The special reserve cab is my fav.
