Moet & Chandon is one of the most well-known luxury champagne producers in the word. With over 2,500 acres of vineyards and an annual champagne production of 26,000,000 bottles, Moet & Chandon lives, breathes, and, of course, drinks champagne. The House of Moet was founded in 1743 by Claude Moet, but it wasn’t until his grandson, Jean-Remy Moet, took over that the company really took off and became an international luxury brand. Jean-Remy Moet strove to bring the pleasure of champagne to everyone he could, forming partnerships with both French and international clients on a regular basis. When Jean-Remy Moet sold the House of Moet to his son Victor Moet and his son-in-law Pierre-Gabriel Chandon in 1833, the ensuing partnership formed Moet & Chandon.

  • Moet & Chandon Champagne Brut Rose Grand Vintage 2008

Crisp strawberry and fresh raspberry aromas. This is very fresh and tart in the mouth with fresh effervescence and good fruit notes of strawberry and cranberry and a bit of soft tannin coming through with sour cherry and mixed berry flavors towards the short finish. Austere and elegant. Read More

  • I was recently challenged to find a wine that would match a delicate dessert and continue to drink well into those lazy, mellow moments that follow every memorable meal. There were several contenders but I went for Demi-Sec Champagne. Controversial I know but most Houses produce Demi-Sec including Moet et Chandon, Taittinger, Veuve Clicquot, Lan... Read More

  • My interest started in the '90's. My brother worked for Jonnie Walker and I started drinking single malts.  Then my brother hosted a dinner tasting event for Moet Chandon; each course was paired with a champagne starting with forgettable White Star and ending with Dom.  That's how I became fascinated with sparkling.  Sometime last year I discove... • Mine started about six years ago when I met my wife.  We played volleyball in an adult league against each other and hit it off at the bar after.  We never drank wine together (only lots of beer) and the subject never came up.  We had been "dating" a few weeks when I invited her over to make us dinner.  She said she would bring a bottle of wine....
