Michael/David Phillips Winery on Snooth

  • Earthquake Zinfandel 2008

    Snoothrank:

Very nice Zin. Comes close to 14 Hands Cabernet. Soft oak finish; currant & blackberry notes. Michael & David Lodi winery on hwy 12 (used to be Phillips Farms). We enjoyed a few glasses with Bruscetta while sitting outside the Cellar Door on historic School Street. A little pricey at $25.00 a bottle, but good. Read More

  • Michael/David Phillips Winery Zinfandel Earthquake 2009

    Snoothrank:

  • I was messing around on Domaine547, somehow stumbled onto Snooth, and dove right in. Long time beer/cocktail drinker, but wine manages to slip in now and then. Just wanted to say hi to everyone, but instead of the usual "hi I'm new/welcome newbie" thread, I thought any repliers should also toss in their favorite red wine, and maybe a little tidb... • Incognito Viognier 2004

    Snoothrank:

This is a previous Gold Medal Wine Club-Gold Series selection. In the words of self-appointed winery poet, David Phillips, ...it flutters my heart and stirs my libido, the former Roussanne, now known as INCOGNITO. This wines predecessor was awarded Best Rhone in the World when it was labeled as a Roussanne at the 2000 L. A. International Wine C... Read More
