Hands down the best Chianti I've ever had. Bottle says "2007 Terrarossa Chianti Classico Riserva.". Wonderful wine. Slightly fruity nose, very nice finish. Had almost a buttery smooth clean finish to it. Bottle didn't last much more than an hour! Very very nice. Was given it as a gift but have not been able to locate it since. Read More

Deceptive nomenclature - because it is Melini behind the fancy name - so has some pedigree (established 1705) in the Classic region of Tuscany. The nose is cheerfully cherry (if I may be permitted this alliterative) with some Mediterranean earth and herb; decant, and you will enjoy the bitter chocolate, cherry and youthful finesse of this wine....
