Wowzer,Just tasted my first Viognier and what a delight. I purchased one that ... well known, it's called McManis Family Vineyards out of Ripon California (not sure whereabouts that is but that's ok with me) This one had a lovely golden color, the gold of a Crown. Tropical fruits and mineral mouth coatings which I love.If you like apricot, pap... Read More

Oh baby, at this price buy two or more bottles because if you like Viognier, this one is very nice. Under $10 is mighty fine. Once you sip this you'll love the mineral coating inside your trap. Shades of melon, tropical fruits like papaya, mango, pear and a touch on non obtrusive lemon. Deep in the throat, the minerality waits to be splashed aga... Read More

Heady aromas of red currant, strawberry and plum with vanilla and cherry as well. In the mouth it's quite full and rich, with dark chocolate and ripe cherry on the attack, mellowing into some toast and almond flavors and some more black fruit on the backpalate, mostly black cherry and currant. As rich and full as it is, it might be even better i... Read More

Dusty and chalky but still bright red cherry aromas and a hint of violet. Full of fruit in the mouth, quite focussed and fruit forward and showing black cherry and some wooded notes of cedar box and cinnamon. Excellent for the price. Read More

Ripe pineapple, honeysuckle, and a hint of chamomile greet the nose. Characteristic tropical fruit notes are steady, strong, yet subtle. Smooth, full, and oily on the palate. Lemon curd with underpinnings of mango and papaya dominate the experience of this value Viognier. Read More

Banana and lemon sing across the nose, loud and strong. These notes really begin to blossom after a full sixty seconds of swirling in the glass. Brine-drenched yellow fruits fill the palate, graduating into cooked green apple and pear flavors. The finish is quite long, like biting into a green apple over and over again. Read More
