Of course no discussion about Washington state wines would be complete without mentioning the big daddies; http://www.snooth.com/wines/quilceda+creek/ and http://www.snooth.com/wines/leonetti/ I think Quilceda has been getting more love lately, and points from the big boys, but I have always preferred the Leonetti wine. I think both producers are deserving of being called two of the best in the States, really producing world class wines! Thanks for bringing this up, it's a great topic on often over-looked wines    (hide)

  Surprisingly low in oak. Nice custard and lemony flavors with a slightly chalky finish. Refreshing and light. Long and lingering.
