  • If you can include French, you can get your distributor's rep to bring some Cotes du Rhone and some Bordeaux and somewhere in there, you can find something good for under $15, definitely under $20--maybe even a village-level Cotes du Rhone like a Cairanne or Seguret; you can also get some Languedocs and other things, but you need to taste them a... • Hi everybody I'm a small store owner at the edge of the rust belt, my customers rarely spend over $20 for a bottle, and I am looking to improve my selection a bit beyond what is here now. If you have a minute to help a guy out let me know what you think are the best wines that usually sell for $20 or less. Thanks ! Read More

  • Bodegas Mano a Mano la Mancha Mano a Mano 2011

Tanzer was right on! This was fruit forward with beautiful spice finish and balance. The price tag made it worth it over and over again. Do not let it get too cold in the fridge as it will lose its flavor in low temps. Read More

  • A Mano Moscato Puglia IGT 2008

Off-dry doesn't do this moscato justice, this is more like a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. The golden hay color produces medium body legs that have a longer finish than the brief notes one gets from tasting this midly acidic white wine.I rate this a 2 as far as Moscatos go, but a 3 for a white wine. • Mano a Mano Tempranillo Vina de la Tierra de Castilla 2007

Warm and spicy with a little apple and hot pepper. A touch boozy in the nostrils. A little oak perhaps? Not as fruity as some tempranillos. Not bad. Read More

  • Promessa Syrah Merlot Italien a Mano 2009

A food friendly price bracket (I paid USD 10,50 including tax), and an organic wine at that! Spicy, full of liquorish, herbs, spice and black cherries. Fresh acidity makes this work well with pasta, a creamy tomato sauce and lots of parmesan. Buy a bunch of bottles and spice up a weekday meal or invite plenty of friends for a relaxed dinner fami...
