The ancient history linked to Podere San Giorgio is witnessed by a 1500 tower and a cellar of the same period. The wine farm was purchased in 1978 by the milanese family Perdomini from the former owners Marchesi Sauli from Genova. The Perdomini family has completely restored the farm and has brought it to the ancient splendor. Now it is one of the most interesting and stimulating enterprises in the Oltrepo Pavese territory. Many improvements have been made in the vineyard and in the premises. With the help of the research staff of Università degli Studi di Milano, the 30 hectares of vineyards have been substituted with new plants. Talking about the premises, an important building has been made in the old style of the house, which holds all the new plants for wine making, the new offices, the new wine shop and wine bar. Oltrepo Pavese is located among the region of Lombardy, Piemonte , Liguria and Emilia Romagna.It is a piece of paradise, dedicated to wine growing and wine culture, where the climate is mild and hilly.
