The soils of our vineyards are stony and coarse textured and endure a climate of hot days and cool nights. Bodegas Luzon, with over 600 hectares of its own vineyards grows grape varieties namely: Monastrell, Tempranillo, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot to provide the basis of our fine wines. After harvesting the vines by hand, we select the best grapes as part of our meticulous process to produce an extraordinary range of top quality wines. The tasting and classification by our Winemaker ensures the results we all desire. At Bodegas Luzon we strive to achieve the highest standards from the crops we harvest and we utilise the latest technological developments in processing our wines. Our winery uses the most modern systems that guarantee the quality and ensures complete traceability of the grapes from the vineyard through the vinification, fermentation, blending, ageing and subsequent bottling. – Description from Alejandro

  • Luzon Verde 2008

    Snoothrank:

Made in Spain with 100% Monastrell grapes, this organic wine took me by surprise. Very aromatic, deep dark jam and that lovely smell of tomato vines. Dense mouth feel, and bursting berries, licorice, and chocolate. At its price point, I will be buying a case of this. Read More

  • Luzon Verde 2008

    Snoothrank:

I liked this wine.. It has the Big Jumilla taste but good complexity good acidity adaquate tannins and a lingering finish. Huge Black Fruit and a hint of licorice. At this price point this is a wine that I would consider buying at least 6 bottles of for future evolution in the bottle. Read More
