At Norton Winery, we are convinced that wine is born in the vineyard, that is the reason why, the experience and professionalism of our agriculturist engineer and enologist combine in our wines, jointly with the knowledge of our people and their hand-craft spirit, together with state-of-the-art technology. Our vineyards produce a wide range of noble grape varieties, such as Malbec and Torrontés. Red varieties include Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Barbera, Sangiovese, Syrah and Pinot Noir. White varieties include Torrontés, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillón, Chenin Blanc and Riesling. After the work executed throughout the whole year on the farms, there comes the time for harvesting. The grapes selected reach the Winery where a series of hand-craft stages take place, resulting in the delicate wine we enjoy. Visits by appointment.

D/H 2013-2017- A ripe red, offering ample acidity to support the jammy kirsch, plum sauce and wild berry coulis notes that are framed by medium tannins, with the finish pumping out hints of smoke, spice box and graphite. The concentrated, focused bouquet is heavy with bittersweet chocolate, and the wine does not disappoint in heft. Theres a kaleidoscopic mix of light and dark flavors, culminating in a clean finish of medium length quite a stunner from a low-price producer, especially in a difficult vintage. Strong inky aromas, viscosity, and bottomless deep color raise expectations sky-high for this blend from an often pedestrian brand, even in a relatively unremarkable vintage, and the wine delivers. It begins with a high, smoky note and descends through red berries to a long stewed fruit finish. To be savored today or aged for tomorrow. (AV 93, h... Read More

This wine was a wonderful find! Assorted berry nose then luscious fruit, blueberry, red currant jelly. A big red that is well balanced with acid and tannins. Hints of earth and minerals and a long smooth finish that delights. Drinks very well right now! May be golden in the future. 93+ Read More
