All of the process waste from winemaking is recycled through a constructed wetlands system and re-used for vineyard and property irrigation. The property where the winery is located is farmed biodynamically and using only organically certified materials. Construction of our own facility has been a goal of Littorai Wines since inception in 1993. We began farming biodynamically in 2001 and since that time it has been our objective to establish a self sustaining, integrated and diversified farm. This winery site presents a unique opportunity to tour a biodynamic farm and learn about this exceptional agricultural method which offers long term solutions to the future of farming. – Description from JelaDragoljevic

  • NG, Pinot Noir is largely underrated for its aging potential. However, as you suggest there are many CA producers not making ageable wines so you have to be careful. For CA Pinot I'm currently collecting/experimenting with a few brands. Littorai, Tyler, Cobb, Kutch, Cabot. I feel better about these wines in cooler vintages but trust Littorai even... Read More

  • Part of it may be the size of Sonoma Coast, and nowadays anything labeled as just Sonoma Coast tends to be rather generic and alcoholic. There are plenty of single vineyards/ producers that must be high quality...Ive started buying some Littorai, though they source from both SC and AV. Read More
