But don’t be fooled – we are serious about our wines and are extremely focused on our mission of creating wines that showcase the ideal grape growing conditions of Santa Barbara County! Founded in 1996 by Bill Foley, Lincourt is a producer of ultra premium wines from the Santa Ynez Valley. A long time wine enthusiast, Bill has been particularly enchanted with the wines of Burgundy. In 1994, when he and his wife Carol relocated their family to Santa Barbara, he discovered that the potential to produce some of America’s most distinguished versions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay lay just miles north of his home. Bill and Carol named their new winery Lincourt, in homage to their two daughters, Lindsay and Courtney.
