Liano is a dry, red wine produced by Umberto Cesari in Emila-Romagna, Italy. It is named for the Liano vineyard in Colli Bolognese (the hills of Bolognese) just south of the town. The wine consists mainly of Sangiovese, with 30% Merlot. Owing to the excellent sun exposure and meticulous winemaking, this is a well-structured wine with good aging potential.
