  Snoothrank:

  Very port-like nose with notes of raisin and toffee. More raisin and toffee on the palate, along with dried fruit. The only thing knocking this down from 90+ points (4 glasses) is the unbelievably short finish.

  Banyuls Rimage 'Les Clos de Paulilles' Bottle 2006

  This was my first dessert wine. It was quite sweet, powerful, and delicious. Since it was my first exposure, I really have nothing to compare it against, but I will try others in the future.

  Snoothrank:

  Medium to heavey in the mouth with a blackberry syrup quality. Rich depth of flavors with berry, soft vanilla, and light spice present. Oak is present but very well integrated, while the wine as a whole is amazingly balanced. c5a11t16o8=90 [90]
