MTB - Thanks for that suggestion. I will try Duck Walk and Clovis Point. I have stayed away from Long Island wines, even thought I live on the Island, because of a prejudice for European wines. Maybe I will reevaluate that...
Rocket - i had a great time at Lenz. They have a nice tasting room, a great range of wines - a lot of chardonnay's, a nice sparkling wine, and some very bordeaux style older red blends as well. If you go, please say hello...

Incredibly fruity with notes of cacao, chocolate and spice. Rich plummy fruits burst out, and even with this, the wine displays great balance. There's age and some secondary characteristics are beginning to shine:...
Medium bodied, with delicate notes of raspberries, blueberries and vanilla on the nose. There's a real baked pie crust taste, and its a very nice, complex, balanced wine. Very nice.
Oily and petrol-esque. Rich and smooth on the finish - nice notes of baked red apples. A complex buttery wine.

Sweet elderflower, honey suckle aroma. Very floral, mineral and smooth palate. Smooth finish.
Apple juice aromaa, dry and crisp with good bubbles and good acid. Very nice.
