An old church in Julienas,the foundations of which go back to the medieval era,was deconsecrated in 1868 but in 1954  the building was put to use by the Association des Producteurs du Cru Julienas.It is used as a cellar,a tasting room and a venue for social functions,notably the annual wine festival..The Association also  operates as a co-operative
