Kumala is a brand of wines produced around Table Mountain in South Africa, with vineyards spanning the Western Cape from Oliphants River to Stellenbosch, Paarl and Worcester. The chief winemaker is Ben Jordaan, who oversees production at each vineyard site. The wines are available in a range of styles from single varietal releases and blends using local and international grapes for reds, whites and rosés.

Used with a Vinturi wine aerator. Shared with a freind after dinner, after aeration the wine did improve however still very tannic. The primary flavour is plum and with a finish of blackcurrent. Overall not a very complex wine, very dry and crisp, would potentially pair well with beef. Read More
