Located in rural Carlton, Oregon, Ken Wright Cellars is devoted to showcasing the inherent quality of selected vineyard sites. With a clarity and breadth that is unequaled by other varieties, we believe Pinot noir best expresses the character of these sites. Rather than stamping wine with a varietal trademark, we see Pinot noir as a vehicle for conveying the aroma, flavor and texture of the location in which it is grown. We also have a place in our hearts for the limited production of two white wines, Chardonnay from Celilo Vineyard near White Salmon, Washington, and Pinot Blanc from Freedom Hill Vineyard. – Description from iskicm

Feel like I got to see how the magician pulls off the trick, without seeing the show. Too much astringency and acidity and not enough fruit vintage = 2012 Read More

  • Ken Wright Pinot Noir Eola Amity Hills Canary Hill 2010

    Snoothrank:

I know it was not a bad wine, but this wine did not exactly suit my tastes. It was a bit too bitter, not vinegary or anything, just bitter. It tasted somewhat like blackberries. Read More
