Located in Kenwood, California, we are an extremely small-production winery that makes conscious efforts to source the best possible fruit available from appropriate appellations in Sonoma County. Combine this with the best winemaking practices, and superior wine will result. I truly believe you will find a memorable wine experience in each and every bottle. I am proud to introduce my first 2 releases, both from the fantastic appellation of Rockpile in Sonoma County—the 2006 Rockpile Malbec and the 2007 Rockpile Petite Sirah. Please sign up for my email list to be kept up-to-date on all new releases and special offers. Cheers, Eric Keating

  • I've been anxious to try some Windy Oaks NG I'm noticing a lot of people drinking it on Delectable and raving. One of these days!I've been busy the past few weeks helping out at the winery during harvest either on the production side or doing private tastings for Ancillary, Myriad and Carter. It afforded my the opportunity to share in some reall... Read More

  • OT, yes, I really liked this.  And, although I logically know all wines can benefit from some time open, I tend to rush into my whites, being impatient and all.  The Keating SB really does need a bit of breathing time....  It was a little tight at first, but opened up nicely. Read More

I emailed Eric Keating and asked him if he was going to be working the tasting room that day. He's setting us up with a VIP visit. Looking forward to the SB based on your ... Read More

  • It's also a real good opportunity to try some quality, low production, under the radar wines. It's how I got my first tastes of Cabot, Holderedge, Halcon, Siduri, Sandler, Loring, Lagier Meredith, Jemrose, Rascal, Keating,  So many others to take advantage of as this has grown in leaps and bounds since the beginning. • Well we are back from the Glen Ellen/Kenwood trip. We found a few wines we liked, and enjoyed exploring the area. Since I am a big pinot person, especially RRV or sonoma coast, I knew I wasn't necessarily in the heart of that area of Sonoma,  But since it had been so long since I visited this area, we decided to give it a go.We stopped first in ... • Was Eric working the tasting room at Keating? Great guy, great wines, very under the radar despite his great location. I have his 2008 Rokpile Petite Sirah,  Monticello Cab and BGIII Cab in my cellar. Maybe it's time to open one.  Read More
