Jozsef Bock is a winemaker from a family that has been producing in the Villány region of Hungary since the 18th century. The winery is located on a couple of hectares in the Jammertál slopes of the Villány Mountains. After the passing of his father in 1981, Jozsef Bock learned winemaking so he could run the family business. Grapes for the wines are grown on some 70 hectares spread throughout the slopes of Villány, with wines made from Portugieser, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir.

Powerhouse wine!! Absolutely delicious. Deep dark stone fruit notes, buffeted by aromas of freshly turned earth and moist bark. Black cherry flavors tickle the tongue with a hint of cinnamon-spice in the back of the palate.A marvelous wine that I would pair with a nice steak or duck. Delicious!! Read More
