Owners Dan and Becky Blue, Roy and Cheri Eisiminger and Vance and Jana Thompson are proud to present Jessup Cellars, an ultra-premium winery crafting superior wines from the best the Napa Valley has to offer. Jessup Cellars was founded in 1996 by Mark Jessup, who continues to be a part of the operation serving as Winemaker for the Jessup Cellars brand.” What makes Jessup Cellars different? We are committed to making the best handcrafted wines using traditional old world methodologies with some of the most state of the art equipment. We barrel-to-barrel rack our wines, allowing us to move the wine from tank to barrel to bottle without stripping any of the flavor components. We don't "over make" the wine. We let each variety and component speak from land from which it was grown. All of our grapes are sustainably farmed, handpicked and hand sorted which provides us lower yields, higher quality grapes, with intense flavors. Since we are a small producer, our winemakers can dedicate their full attention Read more »

  • I opened up a bottle of the 2002 Jessup Cabernet from my cellar and nearly "fell out of my chair," albeit I was standing up! It was stunning; floral bouqet, chewy, tenuous finish, and just superb - it reminded me of a Martin Estate.

  • I happened into their tasting room a few years ago, had a really fun and relaxed experience, and walked out a member of the wine club. The Table For Four, cabs, syrahs, & merlots are consistently good and I always look forward to my shipments. If you are in the area, I recommend stopping by.
