  • Iranzo Fields Albero Sparkling White 2010

    Snoothrank:

We normally don't care for most sparkling wines, but this is a very nice organic version. The flavor is cool and crisp, without being overly dry. The subtle fruitiness gives this sparkling wine just enough complexity to make it pleasureful. Read More

  • Albero Monastrell 2009

    Snoothrank:

Beautiful plum color in the glass. Insignificant bouquet. Fruity on the tip of the tongue, but that quickly diminishes. Big mouth filling as the wine moves through the palate. The real disappointment, though, comes with the finish--chemical aftertaste that, thankfully, quickly dies away. US$5.99 at Trader Joe's. Read More

  • Albero Spanish Bobal 2007

    Snoothrank:

This wine was excellent for making sangria. We added a 1/4 or 1/2 cup of sugar, oranges, and limes...amazing! So juicy! However, I have not been able to find it for almost a year. Read More

  • Albero Organic Cava 2008

    Snoothrank:

Always enjoyable and a bargain for $5. Light carbonation is complemented by hints of apple and pear with a crisp finish. I wouldn't call it a bubbly since it's more of a "spritzer," but I always keep a few bottles on hand since this wine is more sweet than dry, and easily palatable. Read More
