Welcome to Icaria Creek Winery and Vineyards. We are located approximately 1.5 hours north of San Francisco, in Sonoma County. The fifty acre ranch has 26 acres nestled into the Asti Foothills at the northern tip of Alexander Valley. Most of the hillside vineyard sits about 400 feet above sea level where we have planted Cabernet Sauvignon (Clone 7, 337), Merlot (Clone 3), Malbec, and Petite Verdot. We also have ten acres of Chardonnay within the deep alluvial floor of Alexander Valley. We have both the warm days for intensity, and cool nights for acidity. The hillsides give us layers of complexity that are tailor-made for constructing a "food wine". Pairing food with wine is what Icaria Cabernet is all about. We did not spend three years of our time to make some overdone fruit bomb. Our Cabernet is based on elegance and subtlety, and the best thing is that it's only three years old. It's only just begun its' evolution through time. – Description from Dragac
