A Tuscan 100% Syrah. Drank at 33 Wine Bar In Lafayette Square of St. Louis. Really elegant syrah with raisin and wet brook stones on the nose. Medicinal fruit, blackberry, peppery spices. A midweight Syrah produced from 25yr old vines. Nuanced and interesting. Drinking very well now but will enjoy revisiting in a few years. Best 2012-2018. Read More

A delicious wine, smooth and fruity on the attack with a mellow midpalate full of ripe blackberries, chocolate, and leather. There's a bit of licorice, more leather, slight well balanced tannins and a creamy acidity on the finish. Color me impressed. Read More

A fun, lively wine, full of robust flavor, very mulchy, the attack is gentle and soft, and a little acidic pre-release, it stays warm and pleasing on the palate for a minute. Read More

Gamey and wooley on the nose with a sublimely delicate warm aged black cherry mouthfeel. A nice dry lingering finish. This wine kicks ass. Read More

There is still a touch of obvious oak floating on top but it's in balance. Still a pretty big wine with some stiff tannins supporting blowsy, ripe fruit that has a fine aged edge with it's gentle tones of tobacco and d... Read More
