The Lamy family has been working in the vineyards since 1640. Domaine Hubert Lamy was created by Hubert Lamy in 1973. Before creating his own domaine Hubert worked with his father, Jean Lamy. Olivier Lamy, having first studied winemaking and commerce, joined the Domaine in 1995. Prior to joining his father he did training courses in several other Domaines and tasted wines from all over the world. • A few days ago I participated in a tasting/pairing event that featured white wines. One of the wines was Chablis, and, while discussing this one, the facilitator stated that it was fermented in steel and had never seen oak.  I asked if that was common for the region and he responded that it was absolutely the case, and was so for all white wines... • Domaine Hubert Lamy Saint Aubin En Remilly Chardonnay Burgundy 2008

En Remilly is, in my view, the ultimate expression of Saint-Aubin. Ill take it over many Puligny-Montrachets any day. Lamys wine explodes with peony and acacia, preserved lemon and ripe peach. Bracing acidity structures the round and mid-weight palate. Read More

  • Hubert Lamy Saint-Aubin Premiere Cru Clos de Meix 2005

Great white wine at half the price of a chassagne-montrachet. Lime, Citrus and wood on the nose. Very refreshing mouth with notes of pears. Consistent with a soft touch of butter. Great wine for the price. Read More
