Holdredge Wines is a small, family owned and operated winery in the Russian River Valley of Healdsburg, California. We produce only small lots from vineyards we feel reflect the quality and diversity of Sonoma County's appellations. We also grow Pinot Noir and Syrah in our family's vineyard in the Russian River Valley. Both our farming practices and our winemaking philosophy emphasize a personal, hand-crafted approach. – Description from mriskic

  • Holdredge is a fair stumble from downtown, but it could be done on foot.  On the way there, you should check out Ulises Valdez, unless you are planning to vote for Trump. (I don't want to know, let's not infect this place with politics, I'm just saying Trump voters won't want to support Ulises.) The winery is actually Valdez Family wines, and it... Read More

  • No way that Chard was over-oaked. Ceritas is very judicious with their oak and use a very light touch.Sunday I made pan seared Pork Chops with Garlic Sage Butter for dinner. • Dude, I went to Holdredge expecting that you would be pouring!  Plus the last time I called you had to work.  Anyway, I passed along your regards (and Mike Talty's) to Carrie. I'll have another two bottles there for you to pick up for me if you ever make it over that way. I love W. Sonoma, it's just so incestuous.Seriously, friends of ours had t... Read More
