  • Ritual Pinot Noir 2012

    Snoothrank:

  • Well, I really wanted to take it down to Florida, but no visit is in the cards ... more. But all that said, the Hobbs was exactly what you want in a Napa Cab. I think it was actually better, and that's not my usual order. The thing is, those Cabs from the mid 1980s to mid 1990s are in a good spot right now and the style back in those days seems... • Had that 1992 Hobbs last night, along with a tired 2000 Mourvedre from CA and a good 1996 RdD. The Hobbs was fantastic. Perfectly aged Cab. A ringer for a really good Bordeaux. Nice, still ripe, mature, resolved, from a great vintage, wish I had more. Read More

We have long enjoyed his acclaimed wines (especially Cabernets) from here as well as those from his joint venture operation in Argentina.
