  I am admittedly unfamiliar with Portuguese wines, but found this blend to be tasty. Flavorful with strong hints of both raw grape and currant when first hitting the tongue, it very quickly introduces a moderate spice that lingers then fades through a long finish leaving only a mild sense of currant.   Deep purple rich and inpenetrable to light. The nose is very comples with floral notes, raspberry,, balckberry, and more. Rich in the mouth with firm tannins, and a medium acidity.   Deep reddish purple. The shows, violets, liquorice, light spice, mint rosemary all over a rich background of black fruits. In the mouth the firm tannins balance out hte medium weight acidity.
