Huge, heavy chocolate notes on the nose. A little intimidating! Opened up nicely to reveal some cherry flavors, and good balance. Long finish. Have one more bottle that I will cellar for another couple of years.

After drinking this, I can't remember why I purchased it. Devoid of the lovely floral Viognier bouquet, and the finish was too astringent.
