Elizabeth Tasker and Peter Butcher own and operate H A L i F A X. They purchased the vineyard in 2000. Elizabeth has spent all her working life in advertising and marketing communications. Widely regarded as a leading marketing strategist, Elizabeth now consults and brings this, together with a lifetime of travelling and experiencing the great wines and wine regions of the world, to H A L i F A X. Peter has worked with wine for over 20 years. Undergraduate wine studies, coupled with experience in hospitality, wine marketing and sales management, distribution, education, wine tourism and public relations lead to winemaking and production.
