Hey all, I'm really just getting started with wine but i've been drinking/tasting seriously for about a year now. I will be graduating in a couple of weeks and I figure it is a good opportunity to buy my first batch expensive bottles since normally i dont exceed $25 in my tasting.Since it is my graduation, excessive drinking is likely to take p... 2010 Lillie's Merlot from the North Coast. Surprisingly light yet full bodied. Opened on a fluke for a steak and potatoes dinner and it fit the bill. Wish I bought another bottle at this price! Read More

Aromas of cassis, red and blackberry, kirsch and some oak vanilla. It's a ripe, rich and lush blend. Rich berry flavors, cassis and some anise notes. Also some baked bread notes. Lovely berry tart fini... Read More

There is not much in the nose, but not unpleasant. The first thing that hits me is a light acidity. There is very little fruit in the taste, the tannins are nicely balanced with a bit of pepper in the short finish. It's light enough to drink on it's own or with a meal that is not too spicy to overpower the wine. Read More
