In the wild and rugged landscape of the Priorat , a dramatic struggle for survival of the vine is carried out. An unique atmosphere that captures any nature and wine lover. That was what attracted Cusiné Family. One of the traditional wine families in the region of Penedes. That was the magic that led them to start this project with the young winemaker Jordi Fernandez. Gratavinum name is formed by the contraction of the name of the village where the winery is: Gratallops and Vinum wine in latin, in honour to the Romans who introduced the cultivation of vines in the region many centuries ago. Today Gratavinum possesses 17 hectares vineyards in all of them organically grown. – Description from dvoristanac
