  • One of our charming new posters, cysurvivor, was fishing for recommendations here for a visit over MLK weekend.  Since we're all pretty free with our half-baked ideas and opinions, we had plenty of ideas for him, didn't we?  Since Mauritson kept showing up on the list, it looked like it would make the final cut, so I went on private messaging an... We are from New York and want to focus o... Read More

I cannot recall a wine as pale in color as this one. I almost looks like water. Big nose of flowers and fruit. Fruit flavors of mango, pineapple, melon, lemon. Once I get past the fruit explosion, this is a very light bodied wine. Nice refreshing acid. Very refreshing summer sipper. Im going to be having grilled tuna with a fruit salsa, t... Read More

  • That was a nice dinner we enjoyed in Glen Ellen, Fox.  I'd purchased the Lagreins that I gave you and OT that evening a few hours earlier at the winery.  Those were, in fact, vintage 2010.  I, of course, kept some for myself, and I have to say that my recollection of the 2010 was a little better that this 2011.  It may be that you guys have been...
