Giordano on Snooth

November 2009

I only drink wines when I like the taste. This is smooth and went with anything. Loved it last Christmas and now trying to find it again.

Everything Stephen said, plus it tastes as if the vintner was confused about which part of the barrel to use. That is, oak vs. iron bands.

April 2008

gr: I wouldn't wash my hands with it. RBoulanger: A real winner! ... Do you dare try the 2005? In fairness, this was probably passable around the time it was bottled, but is well past its prime now, if not actually...

Giordano Chianti 2004

Snoothrank: 1/5
March 2008

Ruby red in color, thin legs. Fruity aroma, hints of berries, plumb, with a subtle hint of orange. Crisp and refreshing, dry, and light. Very tasty. Had it with dinner, your atypical lasagna.

Giordano Piemonte Barbera 2005

Starting at $5.32 Snoothrank: 2.5/5

Familiar apple nose, some pear, but flabby and simple. Not a fan.

August 2007

Not the best Prosecco, but drinkable. Citrus and yeast on the nose. Soft bubbles with citrus and apple in the mouth. Slightly numbing with an ok finish.

Giordano Prosecco 2005
