Doesn't do Beaujolais any favours in dispelling notions of 'bubblegum' and 'mouthstripping Nouveau'. It has hints of both with a bubblegum (albeit subtle) nose and tannin and acid overwhelming the black fruit. Nevertheless...
Round, pleasant, full-bodied with nice fruit balanced by nice acidity. Great with garlic shrimp.
