Flying Wine Cellars makes premium quality, limited production red wines from some of the top vineyards in California. Our wines are produced using traditional winemaking techniques to bring out the unique characteristics of each vineyard. The results are hand-crafted wines that offer harmony & balance along with the structure for cellaring yet enough finesse to be enjoyed now. Our wines are produced in small lots and in limited quantities, so our release is available through our mailing list and limited distribution. We encourage you to sign up for our mailing list to receive an allocation of our wines. – Description from JasminaDragoljevic

  • It would have been nice to have a few more folks, since we like to get together with as many of you as we can.  We certainly had enough wine, thanks to JD. I'd say, yes, it's infanticide to drink 04 and 06 Barolo, but I think it drinks well younger, better than it used to, because some of what made it tough was faults in wine making.  Long macer... • Got in (very) late last night, flying from the west to the east coast isn't a lot of fun especially when there's a big thunder storm that shuts down the Charlotte airport and you get re-directed to Atlanta to refuel and wait it out. Anyway, the CFO and I had a great time in Oregon. Us, both of our (grown) kids, F-I-L, son's girlfriend and her mo... Read More

Earlier this month we had the opportunity to explore one of the country’s oldest and up-and-coming wine regions: Lodi, California. It still amazes me that a si... Read More

  • I spearheaded this incredible custom design last month. The ambient temperature in my region is approximately 55 degrees throughout the day; ideal for harnessing the explosive potential lurking within this vast selection.
