Light red in color, slightly muddy, herbal bouquet, licorice, dry, astringent. [From "The Other Wines of Tuscany" at Bin 105, Lincoln NE, 30 March 2013.] Read More

More vegetative and menthol driven than other chiantis I have tried, with a crisp oaky layer on the aroma. The mouth is dry, with a little bit of strawberry fruit in the finish. Drinkable overall. Read More

Easy drinker that I paired with spaghetti on Christmas Eve. I had high expectations, that it didn't quite fulfill. Inviting fruity nose, with a little tang...Tasted cherry, cranberry, and a little spice. The finish was lasting with dense tannins. I'd buy it again, and drink it again, but I wanted more. Read More

A little funky on the nose with notes of rust, dried cow stall, ash, a little tobacco and fine strawberry fruit. Softish on entry and open knit, with a fine core of clear strawberry fruit. The finish is bright and refreshed with ripe acids. Overall a tad simple but very Chianti, shows pure strawberry fruit in a rustic style. 87pts Read More

Looks are deceiving! Light-bodied in appearance, but much more weighty on the palate, with dark fruit flavors and even a little smoke on the nose. Keeps evolving in the glass. Read More

This is smooth as silk but a bit too soft on entry, dropping away to leave a bit of a void on the mid-palate. The wine really fills the mouth but there... Read More

Aromas of honeysuckle and blackberry giving way to dark fruits, espresso and cocoa nibs on the palate. Very expressive and flavorful. Read More
