One of the most famous wineries in the Verdicchio di Matelica DOC producing quality wines year on year with the standard Verdicchio bottling a very fair price at around £8 (2011). The riserva versions have won various awards with Gambero Rosso. With 27 hectares under vine and 170,000 bottles produced per year and many for export finding wines from La Monacesca is easy.
