Famega is a wine produced by Caves de Cerca in Portugal. They specialize in Vinho Verde, an inexpensive, light, dry, refreshing, low alcohol, slightly fizzy wine that’s great with a variety of light cuisines and seafood, especially on a hot day. They also produce a zesty rosé counterpart, all from indigenous Portuguese grapes.

I think for the price that the wine is, it is very good. It is well balanced in acidity, and has just the right amount of fizz. It is refreshing and has lots of grassy, not-too-sweet fruit notes to it. It's a lot better than any other white wine you can buy for this price. Read More
