OUR STORY: In 1989 we started our foray into the wine industry by purchasing a Pinot Noir vineyard and since then have been planting Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Riesling grapes in the lush, fertile land of the North Willamette Valley, Oregon’s internationally renowned wine country. Our label is dedicated to the Spruce Goose, Howard Hughes’ famous flying boat, for its innovation and the dreams that inspired the plane’s creation. At Evergreen we put the same innovation into the creation of our wines Evergreen Vineyards family of award winning wines are available internationally in fine retailers, restaurants, markets and our tasting rooms, located in the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum. OUR VINTNER: Laurent Montalieu has been in the winemaking business for over 30 years. Upon his graduation from the Institute of Oenology of Bordeaux, he worked for Chateau La Tour Blanche near Sauternes, France and Domaine Mumm in California. For the past 22 years, Laurent has been making Read more »

Almost tastes like they put the wrong label.. maybe that's why I got it for 5.99 at discounter. Voluptuous green apple, quince, and minerality. Tastes like a chenin blanc, IMO. I wonder if it is, since I thoroughly dislike pinot gris/grigios for being too light, too crisp, and no complexity. Read More
