Elke Vineyards
Elke Vineyards is comprised of about 80 acres at Donnelly Creek in Anderson Valley, and about 18 acres in Napa Valley in the Tulocay District.
The Elkes are primarily growers, who farm Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Merlot, and organic apples. Guest winemakers are hired to make wine from the grapes we farm.
Elke Vineyards began more than twenty years ago, and has grown fruit for many, many wineries over the years. Chances are, you have tasted the wine from our grapes. Currently we grow fruit for Mumm Napa, Roederer Estate, Radio Coteau, Copain Wine Cellars, Londer Vineyards, Au Bon Climate, Mendocino Wine Company, Far Niente, ICI/La Bas, Franciscan, and Breggo Cellars.
Every year since 1997 we have reserved fruit for our own Elke wines, namely the Elke Vineyards Blue Diamond Pinot Noir. That wine has been made by master winemaker Tom Farella, of Farella Vineyard, since inception.
